In the following article I will present an interview with the one and only Shytoshi Kusama, lead developer of Shibaswap and his current take on the present, future and past of Metaverse and especially the combination of Metaverse and Gambling.

- So in the following interview I will ask you about your take on the newly launched Shibaswap called MetaBET. MetaBET was released exclusively on Shibaswap. MetaBET wants to combine the metaverse and gambling. So let’s start with what are your thoughts about the Metaverse?Shytoshi Kusama
- Yes I saw it launched and was trending along with VXL which was also exclusively launched on ShibaSwap. In regards to the Metaverse…. Metaverse is coming! In many ways it’s already here and has been here for years. Second life etc.Linus le Chef
- 100% agree, it’s all over the news and talked about everywhere not only in the cryptospace but companies like Facebook Inc (changed name to Meta) are all in on Metaverse. Can blockchain technology and Metaverses coexists?Shytoshi Kusama
- Compared to let’s say current platforms not on the blockchain this time the difference is that the blockchain allows revenue SHARING models that enhance the experience for the gamers that live there.Linus le Chef
- So how about the combination of Metaverse, Gambling and Casinos — combined and visualized by the MetaBET team, for example their future revenue models will pay back 75% of all profits to liquidity providers.Shytoshi Kusama

- I know you have a tight schedule so I’ll be starting to wrap this interview up with your take regarding of what you think about the future of a project like MetaBET?Shytoshi Kusama
- What’s the future hold? Who knows but I know that there are mobile games, slots for instance, that DON’T give rewards and still… STILL have tons of paying players.- When you wrap your head around that… and the psycho analysis of gambling in general, MetaBET has a lot of potential. Even though Metaverse isn’t anything new, it can be made fresh and exciting. This has always been our goal as I have mentioned before and maybe we will see a new MetaVerse step into the arena sooner than later. *wink*

- Ryoshi told us in Shib to shy away from developing gambling and we have honored this request, and have not done any development in this arena. So it’s exciting to see a token that isn’t Shib branded, tackling this huge market.- No financial advice here…just my humble opinion as an interested party and hodler.

What does the future hold, nobody knows but one thing for certain is that MetaBET is a project that has timed the market perfectly.
Not only is the teams vision of MetaBET aligned with revenue models for gamblers and players inside a Metaverse, also the bloodbath that has been seen recently in crypto has created a good oppurtunity for MetaBET in the sense that it’s one of few coins that has seen an upside and has been a great hedge versus USD, ETH and BTC. Great projects like MetaBET clearly has a huge hodlers base, an amazing community and supported by the Shib Army.
